The Path to Success for Your Health

We all have goals for ourselves, and we of course want to get there in the quickest, easiest, and most fool-proof way possible. We want to practice whatever habits have the best chance of working for us–nobody wants to waste time with practices that don’t show real results!

So today, I want to talk about what you can do to improve your health so that you get the results you want now. 

Here are 3 things you can do to see improvement in your health today!

1. Team up with a friend. 

Stop trying to go on this journey alone, and find a friend to be your accountability partner along the way. When you need someone to turn to for advice and a shoulder to lean on when things get tough, your accountability partner will be there so that you don’t have to do everything for yourself. 

  1. Create a framework for success. 

It can be overwhelming trying to decide in the moment what you want to eat, how much you should eat, and how you’ll get your protein, fats, and carbs in every dish. It’s exhausting to think that through every mealtime, and it might be tempting to turn to cold pizza instead of doing the grunt work when you’re hungry. 

To help prevent last minute binge eating, create a framework that lays out a plan for what you’ll be eating so that you don’t have to do the work in the moment. 

  1. Find a community to be a part of. 

The reality of life is that sometimes life just gets too busy, and it’s easy to turn to junk food and forget about exercising when that happens. Finding a community to be a part of will help provide accountability, support, and a constant reminder to make decisions that serve your body and your health. 

Great supplements can help with this, too. I always have a pre-made shake ready to go in the mornings because I know that my morning routine is way too hectic to otherwise make a healthy breakfast for myself.
