Protecting Your Environment: The Key to Reclaiming Peace and Energy

Being up here in Vermont, I’ve noticed some residual smoke and particulates from the wildfires in Canada. And I’ll be honest, it’s affecting me. The air just isn’t as clear as usual, I’m sneezing like crazy, and my body is feeling it.

But what I really want to talk about today is another kind of environment, one that surrounds your mind, your attitude, and your energy.

You Are Always in an Environment, Whether You Choose It or Not

As some of you know, my family has been navigating a season of deep loss. And being in Vermont, our happy place, is helping in ways that are hard to describe.

We come here every year. And even though we’re not all together this time, being surrounded by beauty, peace, and people who matter... it’s shifted our energy in a way that feels like healing.

That’s the power of your environment.
And it’s worth protecting.

What’s in Your Environment Right Now?

Whether you’re moving through grief, stress, burnout, or just a tough season in business, take a look around. What are you surrounding yourself with?

Ask yourself:

  • What spaces help you breathe better, physically and emotionally?

  • Who lifts your energy just by being around them?

  • What kind of noise (literal or digital) is cluttering your head?

  • What’s one change that would bring you peace?

Your environment isn’t just your location, it’s all of your inputs. It’s who and what you let in. And it matters more than we think.

For Me, That Means Pressing Pause

Right now, I’m taking a full week off from my business, except for checking in with you all here. I’m nourishing my body, my brain, and my soul.

Soon, I’ll turn my attention back to my business and clients. But right now? This is the priority. Because without my own health and energy, nothing else works.

What Season Are You In?

Pause and check in:

  • Where are you in your life or business?

  • What do you need more of?

  • What do you need less of?

  • Where do you want to go next and what kind of environment will get you there?

When I get back, I’ll be opening up a few single sessions so we can hop on a call, map it all out, and create a plan for your next season, one that looks more like the life you want.

As always, what I wish for you is that you live a life you love without giving up the things that bring you joy. Until next week.
