Mindset Matters

Mindset Matters!

I want to share a story with you - a story about mindset and the incredible power it holds in shaping our lives. It's a story that unfolded during a day filled with mixed emotions, as I dropped off my kiddo for their freshman year at UMass Amherst.

As any parent can tell you, sending your child off to college can be a bittersweet experience. It's a day filled with a rollercoaster of emotions, from pride and excitement to a deep sense of loss. But in the midst of these feelings, I stumbled upon a valuable lesson, and I'd like to share it with you.

In the afternoon, I had the privilege of celebrating with one of my teams that had just completed the 100 Days of 1% program. They were beaming with pride, wearing their program shirts, and exuding a contagious sense of accomplishment.

It was a joyous occasion that made me realize something profound - in times of change, you have a choice: you can mourn what has been or celebrate what's coming. And often, you can do both.

So, as I continued with my day, I made a conscious decision to celebrate what lies ahead. My child had graduated from high school with honors and was now embarking on a new chapter of their life at a great college, eager to learn and grow.

Yes, it was bittersweet, but it was also a moment of immense pride and excitement. It reminded me that your mindset matters in everything you do, including your health.

My 100 Days team reminded me that the message I need to share with you today is simple: You can achieve your goals, no matter how big or small, and it all starts with how you choose to perceive things.

The 100 Days of 1% program covers essential aspects of health, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and supplementation. These are the building blocks of a healthy life, and it all begins with a solid foundation in nutrition. Start there and gradually incorporate the other elements into your life, one step at a time.

If you find yourself at a crossroads, ready to prioritize your health as you enter a new phase in life, whether it's with coworkers or as an individual, I encourage you to take that first step.

Remember, your mindset matters.

Choose to celebrate the journey, and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
