Food, we all love and need it!

FOOD,WE ALL LOVE AND NEED IT!

Food, food, food! Let’s talk about food. I mean I am sure most of you know by now that I am a HUGE foodie.

I was recently in the beautiful country of Japan and one thing that I noticed is that they serve their meals very similar to what I teach, PFC3.

Protein, Fats and Carbs every three to four hours so your blood sugar stays stable.

Of course in the right portion for you, your body and your needs. This helps you avoid being hangry and sluggish. So you don’t store extra fat and you do build lean muscle (or whatever your goals are).

In short, FOOD IS YOUR FOUNDATION.

One thing I have to remind myself often is that not everyone knows and understands PFC3 so here’s my crash course for you today.

PFC3 is not difficult. The real work comes when you integrate it and make it part of your everyday lifestyle. Everything from what you’re going to eat at a restaurant, when you’re going for dinner at a friend or even just how to balance your meals at home.

So here are the basics:

  1.  You eat proteins, fats and carbs every three to four hours.

  2. You start within an hour of waking up.

  3. You eat every three to four hours until about an hour before you go to bed.

And that is it, super simple. No measuring, no weighing, none of the complicated things. Start with the basics.

We measure with our hand because it is in proportion to our body. The palm is the size of our protein, your carb portion is your fist size and your fat is the size of your thumb. This is how women measure their PFC3 (men have slightly bigger portions - reach out if you've got questions).

And get this, there's no forbidden food, and if you would like a better understanding of all the amazing foods you could be eating join my facebook community and chat with all the fabulous people on the same journey as you.

In my world there is no good or bad food, there are just the choices that we make. If you don’t like the results you are getting, you have to make different choices.

It's all about learning to make the choices that support the goals you have for your health.
